PERSONALITY: Comanche is a BLM mustang therefore he is a pretty shy horse even after about five years of training. He does love people and treats, he just takes a while to get used to them. He absolutely loves other horses and would do a lot to be out in the paddock for his whole life. Most of the time he lives in the pasture where retired horses live and chills with them, usually being the horse that all the other horses love. When it comes to riding he is incredibly devoted and works his butt off to impress you. He has the strange energy that allows him to run for miles, and a very nice conformation for halter. Comanche was the easiest to train by far, even as a mustang, because of his willingness. He tries to keep himself together at halter shows, but at bigger shows he tends to freak out, so Morgan has to place him in smaller shows instead. Comanche has a great time being a pony for the racehorses, but is only used as a pony when it's the morning or dark when not a lot of people are out and yelling. All in all, Comanche is probably one of the best mustangs out there.
HISTORY: Comanche was born a wild mustang and lived as one until his first birthday where not long after he was rounded up with his family and brought to be sold by the BLM. He was separated from his mother to be sold, as the only family member to be sold in his herd. At first not a lot of people were interested in Comanche because of his plain color that wasn't palomino gold or a beautiful paint. But Morgan had happened to be in the area on a trip looking for a good pony to start her racehorse career. She decided a mustang would be a pretty good candidate to be a pony. So she arrived at where Comanche was being sold and noticed his fabulous conformation and the way he held his head high even with his family gone. She immediately adopted him. It took a lot of time and a lot of hard work to get him to settle down in his new home and notice that Morgan or anyone that worked at the barn weren't evil. But eventually he began to love the place, and even more he began to love his outdoor time. During summer Comanche doesn't have a stall and just lives in a giant paddock with four other horses and a big shed. It's his favorite time of the year and he can't wait for winter to be over. Now that Comanche's older, he works better in scarier environments and tends to spook a lot less.
